Nate and Lisa Johnson,
Married September 11th, 2004

We are living in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. I (Nate) am the youth pastor at Ambassador Baptist in Shoreview (part time), working part time at RMR Services, and part time student (still) at Central Seminary. If you can't tell, I'm getting sick of all of this part-time business! I've got about 3 semesters left at Central- mostly have to finish Hebrew. After that I hope to be on FULL TIME at Ambassador Baptist or elsewhere.
My wife Lisa is currently working at Boweman and Brook (a lawfirm) in downtown Minneapolis.

We would love to hear from you guys.

Hey there yall! This is Amy Patten, Steve's wife. Steve graduated from Pilly in May of '03 and I would have graduated (if not for kids) shortly thereafter. Steve is working full time at a youth shelter in Owatonna, while we are living down in Albert Lea. He was aslo elected in as a deacon at Faith Baptist Church in Albert LEa. We have three children now, two girls (Abigail Grace known as Abbi born June 27, '02 and Mackenzie Ruth known as Kenzie born Feb 3, '04) and one boy....ironically born May 11, 2006 - CONGRATS JEREMY AND AMANDA:)Our son's name (for the record) is JohnMark Kerux. Just like Chet and Jenny; Brett and Naomi; Landon and Nicole; as well as about ten other couples who got married that year, Steve and I will hit our Five Year Anneversary July 20 of this year. Yes, that is right (for those of you who are counting). Three kids in five years. It is called the two year program...a fun and interesting program that God created.
Well, I will end this here. I am hoping to start a blogspot for our family here soon, and that way yall can check in and see updated pics of the kids, as well as hear all that is going on in our lives. Feel free to email us sometime:)

Enjoyed catching up on many of you that I knew and that endured my classes or odd humor.

God is good, and in spite of the prayers of many, I live on, now past the "three years" given by the imperfect medical community.

Do you know the difference between a doctor and God?

God doesn't think He's a doctor.

It is exciting to see what God is doing in your lives. I, unlike most of your mentors, never doubted that you would become the men and women of great faith because of "surviving" the ordeals of Pillsbury in the past decade.

Blessings on all. Remember, God is better to us than we deserve.

Hey fellow Pillsbury friends!

Just want to invite everyone to our post-wedding reception on August 19th at Bryant Avenue Baptist Church in Minneapolis. This is a laid back "open house" reception, as we will be married a week earlier in Southern Maryland. Check out our blog and wedding website to read our story! http://www.theknot.com/ourwedding/taranelson&jeromytichner

It's been great getting the inside scoop on everyone! God is faithful!

So...if I had stayed on course I would have graduated in 2001. However, the Lord had other plans, and after gracefully exiting Pilly I moved down to Houston, TX. Where I met a wonderful man named Nick, whom I later married May 19, 2002. God has given us 2 beautiful daughters; Kileigh who is 3 (6/11/03) and Marissa who is 20 months (1/30/2005). I stay at home full-time with the girls, and do some volunteer work for the pregnancy assistant center down here and also some breastfeeding consultation for the area hospitals. My husband is an EMT and works for the area's 911 service and also some other private transport companies. He is finishing up some schooling and it will be wonderful to have him back at home more often in the coming months. We are still residing in surburbia Houston and would love to hear from ya'll if ever in the area!
