New Pillsbury Alumni site

The Pillsburyalumni(dot)com blogsite has been created mainly for those of us who attended Pillsbury together recently. It has been a nice way to reconnect with people we know and not have to dig through scads of strangers to find old friends.

An older alum (Dr. Sam Telloyan's son) is setting up a MyFamily site (these are really great when they get up and running!) for ALL Pillsbury alumni to use. I am including a message from him in case you are interested in checking out his site. I am also thinking that this site might be of interest to some of your parents who attended Pillsbury years ago. If so, please forward this information on to them so they can be a part of this new connection.

****(A MESSAGE FROM JOHN TELLOYAN)****
Since many of us rarely see our former Pillsbury friends in person anymore,it's about time for a meeting in cyber space. Thanks to the net, this is now possible and relatively easy. John Telloyan ('87) is setting up a virtualwebsite for all former Pillsbury students, faculty and staff to directlysubmit pictures, updates and keep in touch. All are welcome to check out thefree site. He hopes many people will enjoy the site and help it expand. Please feel free to contact John at tanoyan(at)hotmail(dot)com if you are interested in this site. And, if you have any contacts with Pillsbury-related folks who might be interested, please encourage them to contact John as well or please forward their contact info to John and he'llinvite them to the site. Thanks so much.

More information

Check out the following link: www.pillsbury.edu/AlumniLetters.pdf for more information about Pillsbury's current needs.

Prayer Needed

As many of you may have already heard, our alma mater is in need of some desperate prayer at this time. Pillsbury has been a milestone place in our lives. Whether you view Pillsbury as the best thing that ever happened to you, or some of the most challenging years of your life, it was still a place where you learned fundamental doctrines of the faith, met dear friends (and in many cases your spouse), and where you wrestled through your convictions on issues.

Now Pillsbury is struggling to keep its doors open, and has even issued a plea for help to secular news stations! (click on headline above to link to WKBT for that story)

I know I don't have the kind of money necessary to help the school, but I know that I can pray for the Lord's will to be done in this place where my life was changed in so many ways. God has worked through Pillsbury to accomplish so many things, I can't help but imagine that He has a plan for its future.
Please consider praying for (and maybe donating to???) Pillsbury during this difficult season.
